Bimbo Bakeries USA has an excellent opportunity for aSanitorin the Valdese, NCplant.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning various pieces of equipment and machinery within the Plant facility.
Utilize hand tools for cleaning (i.e., brooms, scoops, mops, water hoses) as well as 55-gallon trash bins.
Assist with other positions as assigned by supervisor.
Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Able to communicate, understand detailed instruction and work effectively with all.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
Able to work in warm environment consistent with a bakery facility.
Have the ability to stand and/or stoop for the full shift and able to climb ladders.
Ability to work at elevated heights of 30 plus feet above the ground.
Must follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Willing to work irregular and/or rotating shifts.
Working holidays and weekends is frequently required.
Additional:
Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
