Provide genuine customer service to every customer by greeting the customer at the door with a hello and thanking the customer for their business at the register.
Every customer must be acknowledged and thanked.
Performs specific tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
Assists the Store Manager in seeing that the store maintains a store inspection grade of at least 88.
Adheres to all city, county, and state ABC and tobacco regulations.
Follows the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the district manager and the store manager.
Ensures the store manager is made aware of all sales, cash and operating discrepancies per company policy.
Operates shift within company guidelines per company policy.
Follows proper clocking in and out procedures though the store computer.
Shift Responsibilities Prepares a shift reconciliation report at the completion of shift in accordance with company guidelines.
Notifies store manager of any discrepancies in the operating results on the shift report.
Assures the proper sale and counting for money orders during shift, as described in the company policy.
Scans all items properly at the register.
Security Shares responsibility for controlling inventory on the shift and in the store.
Follows company policy with regard to excessive cash in registers.
Protects company assets at all times.
Merchandising Keeps cooler, store shelves and displays fully stocked and fronted as directed by the Store Manager.
Properly cleans and maintains equipment including fountain, coffee and food service areas.
Uses correct pricing for all merchandise.
Uses suggestive techniques.
Maintenance- keeps store floors, windows, restrooms, shelving, counters and pumps clean at all times, with specific responsibility being assigned by the Store Manager.
Immediately advises store manager of any maintenance problems.
